CGDent Midlands Study Club, Friday 24 July 2026, 6pm-8pm, Wolverhampton
This CGDent Midlands Study Club is organised in association with Rock Dental, a specialist referral practice. College members and non-members are invited to join an interactive study club and case discussion evening with their multi-disciplinary team.
This session will explore contemporary approaches to caries management and restorative dentistry, focusing on practical strategies that can be applied in everyday general practice. The first hour will cover modern caries diagnosis, risk-based management, and minimally invasive techniques, alongside direct restorative principles to improve the predictability and longevity of composite restorations. There will also be a focus on when to move beyond direct restorations, with an introduction to indirect options such as inlays and onlays, including case selection, preparation design, and material considerations.
The second half of the evening will be dedicated to interactive, case-based discussions. Delegates are encouraged to bring their own cases to explore treatment planning options, share experiences, and gain insights in a supportive, peer-led environment.
This is an excellent opportunity to:
- enhance your understanding of caries diagnosis and risk-based management
- improve predictability and longevity of direct composite restorations
- explore indications and treatment planning for indirect restorations, including inlays and onlays
- take part in case-based discussions and shared learning
- bring along your own cases for advice and peer-led discussion
- network in a relaxed and supportive environment
Limited number of places are available.
