The College has this week published the fiftieth issue of the Primary Dental Journal, its quarterly peer-reviewed professional development journal for GDPs and DCPs working in primary care.

The 50th issue of the Primary Dental Journal, a bumper ‘General dentistry’ issue, is now available to view online.

The College has announced the results of recent elections to six seats on its Council, with five new members elected and one re-elected.

The College has issued an open invitation to all those who participated in the FGDP(UK) Diploma in Restorative Dentistry programme to join a special anniversary gathering.

The College has confirmed its programme of CPD lectures for the British Dental Conference & Dentistry Show (BDCDS25), which is taking place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 May 2025.

Associate Fellows of the College will soon begin being presented for ceremonial admission.

Senior College members took part in a recent meeting of dental leaders from across the UK to share learnings on how best to support the careers and professional development of the future dental team.

The College has issued an open invitation to all College members and other dental professionals to attend its 2025 Summer Reception.

Voting is now open for seats on the College Council, and all eligible members are encouraged to cast their vote(s).

Dr Roy Bennett FCGDent, a dentist with a special interest in the care of anxious patients and an IACSD-accredited sedation course organiser, has been appointed as a Trustee of the College.
