The College has announced the speakers for its annual study day in Glasgow, which will feature lectures on ‘Problem solving in anterior and posterior composite dentistry’, ‘The ethics of aesthetics’ and ‘Using antibiotics sustainably’.
Roshni Karia to be next President of the College
Roshni Karia MCGDent, a general dental practitioner in London with a special interest in periodontology,
has been appointed as the next President of the College.
Recruitment of Board Chair (Faculty of Dentists)
The College will soon appoint the inaugural Chair of the Board of its Faculty of Dentists, and all Full Members, Associate Fellows and Fellows of the College who are dentists are eligible to apply.

Council elections 2024 – call for candidates
Nominations are now open for elections to twelve regional and role-based seats on the College Council, and all eligible members are invited to put themselves forward.
College to elect Council members from across the dental team
This year, for the first time, four role-based seats will be elected to the College Council – one each representing dentists; dental hygienists and dental therapists; dental nurses and orthodontic therapists; and dental technicians and clinical dental technicians.
Tax relief now available on membership fees
College members who are UK taxpayers can now claim income tax relief on their membership subscription fees.
