CGDent Midlands Study Club, Wednesday 20 May 2026, 6pm-8pm, Wolverhampton

This CGDent Midlands Study Club is organised in association with Rock Dental, a specialist referral practice. College members and non-members are invited to join an interactive study club and case discussion evening with their multi-disciplinary team.

This session is designed to provide a practical and structured approach to the diagnosis and management of tooth wear in general practice. The first hour will focus on understanding the aetiology of tooth wear (including erosion, attrition, and abrasion) and how to assess severity, monitor progression, and plan appropriate intervention. Emphasis will be placed on minimally invasive restorative strategies, occlusal considerations, and material selection to achieve predictable, long-term outcomes.

The second half of the evening will be dedicated to case-based discussions. Delegates are encouraged to bring their own cases to explore treatment planning options, share experiences, and gain insights from both general and specialist colleagues in a supportive environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to:

  • improve confidence in diagnosing and managing tooth wear
  • explore practical, minimally invasive restorative strategies
  • take part in case-based discussions and shared learning
  • bring along your own cases for advice and peer discussion
  • network in a relaxed and supportive environment

Limited number of places are available.
